Ever since I started reading tarot using the Buffy the Vampire Slayer deck, I've been seeing tarot archetypes in my favorite stories. Although I could use screenshots to make a deck out of my favorite medical drama, that doesn't apply to books. It might be a use-case for generative AI, but I'm not going to use a model that's already stolen the works of these authors.

So, I'm bringing together artist, illustrators, people who love fantasy, and people who love tarot to create decks based on beloved stories. We're starting with Tamora Pierce's Tortall books and Leigh Bardugo's Six of Crows/Crooked Kingdom duology.

Artists can create one card, or an entire suit! (If you want to take on a whole deck, I'm not going to object!) While compensating artists is something I absolutely want to do, this is a fan-run project, it may remain a crowdfunded, profitless endeavors.
